NT has an installed base death old world anchor around their neck called BCE and it is slowing them down CSCO is new world nimble and fleet of foot. Market cap ratio is OK. Metabolism of CSCO is a young teenager vs. NT 65 year old couch potato. CSCO and LU will track affinity charts mirror image. if cap goes up or down with these guys then the whole sector follows. LU lost it's dead weight anchor in 3 way ATT spin off..so LU is more like a 30 something dude who is going back to community Internet college for night school. Nortel's commercials are the best...appealing to the 40 something clan. John Roth is very old world and arrogant in person...but good advertising marketing folks will keep him from getting on stage too much anymore. Roth appeared with Chambers in a Business Week talk show format where John Roth kept answering ALL questions directed to "John". The host kept shrugging his shoulders and John Chambers just smiled and the audienced snickered for 1 hour watching Roth falling all over himself to try and outshine Chambers who had the audience melting in his vision when moderator finally shut John Roth up. Someday i think i will write a book on the part of these firms no one really sees. boy do i have some good first hand steve ballmer/scott mcnealy stories to tell you.
