AMD must fulfill their obligations to the OEM. They must fill the orders for the K62's. AMD has to deliver what it has promised at the price it has promised. That is independent of the die size/yield issues discussed here.

Most of the rest of the capacity goes to the K7. The K62 obligations will run till next quarter, at that time K6III will ramp, no worries, at least YET!
