Members of the Citrix Business Alliance Program Demonstrate "How Everything Computes" With Server-Based Computing
LAS VEGAS--(BUSINESS WIRE)--May 11, 1999-- Citrix Systems, Inc. (Nasdaq:CTXS - news) today unveiled the Citrix Business Alliance Pavilion at Networld+Interop (Booth 2408, North Hall). The pavilion brings together members of the Citrix Business Alliance program to demonstrate end-to-end server-based computing solutions, including high-performance servers, enterprise applications, ICA®-based thin-client devices and professional services. The pavilion makes up the largest display of server-based computing and thin-client hardware and software products at Networld+Interop. Citrix MetaFrame(TM) server-based computing software is at the center of these solutions, providing the independence, speed and flexibility needed to extend any application to anyone, anywhere.

-- Boundless Technologies - designs, manufactures and markets Viewpoint® TC and Capio(TM) Windows-based terminals for the Windows environment and the Internet/Intranet, legacy and UNIX applications markets. -- IBM Network Computer Division -- a licensee of Citrix's Independent Computing Architecture (ICA), will demonstrate how users of the IBM Network Station family of thin clients and Netfinity servers can easily access Windows-based applications in conjunction with Citrix MetaFrame and WinFrame server-based computing software.
-- IGEL LLC - the developer and manufacturer of the JNT OS for Embedded and Thin Client devices, will showcase the Etherminal, an advanced thin-client product that is equipped with ICA support, UNIX connectivity tools and a built-in Netscape Communicator.
-- Intergraph Computer Systems - a global IT solutions integrator, Intergraph Computer Systems will demonstrate how Citrix MetaFrame server-based computing software integrates with Intergraph's ICA-ready workstations, PCs, and servers, which comprise server-based computing, enterprise management, and Windows NT migration technologies for accelerating application deployment, managing the enterprise infrastructure, and enabling remote access.
-- J.D. Edwards - will demonstrate how Citrix MetaFrame software enables users to access J.D. -- Key Tronic - will demonstrate ClienTerm, the first thin client device in a keyboard. The ICA-enabled device features all the terminal functions and ports integrated into Key Tronic's most popular keyboard with an advanced feature set that includes touch screen support and barcode reading capabilities. This zero footprint ICA-enabled device offers users an efficient and cost-effective thin client solution.

Wyse will also be demonstrating the Winterm 2715SE thin client with integrated 15-inch CRT monitor.
