Well, I guess everyone loves posting in the
middle of the night. About 20 posts throughout
the night and 2 today.

Anyway, I agree the "bears" seem to be in hibernation
right now and I know its not good to be to positive
about a stock or company but........

There has been a bunch of comments about the poor
mangement at 3dfx and a bunch of bad decisions. Some
people feel that the only reason they are doing well,
despite themselves, is that they have an excellent product.

Now I agree at times they are a bit quite and the stock
performance hasn't been great over the last two years,
however, as far as running the company goes I'm am hard
pressed to find one major mistake thay have made since
VooDoo "Rush". They made V2 into a major success, then they
created their own 2d part and made Banshee (which was technically
worse than TNT) into a fairly good success. Then they leaveraged
Banshee 2d core to produce V3 as the first product of the NEW
3dfx, afer the merge with STB, which in my mind was brilliant.

Now they are all set to release a brand new technology and
knock everyones socks off and be able to go after the OEM
market with STB and "cheap" V3's. Even if Pat is right about the
3500 being "late" - management still did a great job
"covering" it up with the introduction of the V3 I am
going to buy.

My question is what did they do wrong in the last 2 years?
