Just my guess but, all of those people (MRKR investors), including ourselves, are just waiting for the day when we get the word that everything is back on track.I believe that investor's confidence has to be re-established before we see any substantial volume or movement. I will purchase more MRKR but not until I hear of something that makes me feel a hell of lot more comfortable then just the price...at this point price is not the issue, it's fundamentals.. Who's going to be running the show? New Tecnica management? Old Marker management? New Volkl management?Where are they going to be established? Utah? New Hampshire? Other? (Just good business sense but I doubt it if they're going to want a duplicate office in Utah.) (There are some excellent people that work at Marker, but if the company moves east to N.H. will they go)? If not, then who's in line to head up Marker? Will they give the binding to currently established Tecnica/Volkl sales reps. or keep the established Marker sales agents? What level is "old" inventory at currently? What is (if any) the plan to liquidate it? How long will it take to get out from under it? What impact will it have on future "new" product sales in terms of over all company margins? Will future technology be side lined due to lack of funding? For how long? What impact will it have on Marker's market share? What (if any) is the worldwide forecast through 99?,2000?,2002? beyond? What effect(if any) does the problems with the OOC have on Marker's future plans? (I understood that they had BIG plans for the games in Park City). Is there sufficient working capital in the budget for advertising, marketing, racing and promotions for the coming season? What is (if any) the go ahead plan for LTD? Is LTD generating revenue. breaking even, or eating away at critical funds? Etc, etc,etc... Just a few of my concerns at this point... Best, TJG
