NEW YORK, May 11 (Reuters) - Shares of Immunex Corp. rose
in pre-opening trade Tuesday after the drug company said it
would seek approval for expanded use of an arthritis drug.
Immunex was at 130 on the Instinet electronic broker
system, up from a Monday close at 107.
The rise came after the company said it planned to seek
regulatory approval for wider use of its drug Enbrel in
patients with early, active rheumatoid arthritis.
Among other active issues, America Online Inc. <AOL.N> rose
to 134-3/4 after the Web service provider said it had entered
four partnerships to develop its AOL TV product.
