DD,, About this unconditional stuff-, this has been used many times before-- I know there is a lot af flak about this , but apparently even in WW2 the japanese were given that ultimatum in order to prolong the war long enough to use the A bomb...

The unconditional part then ,refered apparently to their emperor stepping down, which apparently totally flew in their style of doing things.. After the bombs were dropped and they got their Unconditional surrender they totally forgot about the emperor, and didn't give two hoots if he stepped down...
