La Tomate!!!! As you know, I hire broadcast talent every day of my life. I have to applaud FNTN's choice of Joe Theismann as spokesperson. First, not unlike the rest of the corporate community, the investment community LOVES sports figures both as hawkers and motivators. Their language runneth over with sports metaphors. Recently, I had Dick Vermeil in my studios spouting 3 hours of motivational rhetoric for a corporate sales tape. The corporate guys went WILD. Not a dry seat in the house. Theismann and Tarkenton are in the same league (no pun intended). They're not just recognizable figures - they're professional motivators. As for Theismann electing to represent FNTN, THAT speaks volumes. These guys turn down far more offers than they accept. They (or their agents) are cautious when it comes to product endorsements - and they can afford to be! We should ALL be very happy with Mr. Theismann on our team.
