An interesting comment at the end was that they hope 3dfx still uses the "22-bit" method for 16-bit rendering even after they release a product that supports 32-bit external rendering. That would be a one-up on the TNTs right where it hurts.

I think the TV add-on to the 3500 makes great competition for the TNT2 cards. Whereas the 2 products were offering similar value at the same price, now you can get the TV functionality for no extra $$. It makes that choice that much easier.
