The Globe and Mail reports in its Tuesday, May 11, edition that ATI
Technologies says its has sold its 4.7-per-cent stake in chip maker United
Integrated Circuits to Taiwan's United Microelectronics for $25-million
(U.S.). The Globe's News Bulletins column reports that ATI says it no
longer needs to own shares because it is the chip facility's largest
customer. ATI says it made a small profit on the stake, which was purchased
in 1996 when the company wanted to make sure it had a steady supply of
chips.

I guess ANTONEN, was wrong.
