Gloating about AOL

Flattering words from a couple of analysts that hit the press Monday
about America Online (AOL: news, msgs) rallied the AOL troops at
TheMotleyFool boards. AOL stock enjoyed the number one spot on
Monday's most actives list and it popped more than $10 a share. So
much for last week's nay sayers, figures robert duke ..."I don't think we
will be hearing much prattle from those AOL shorts that bugged us all
weekend as they are all busy covering. Me thinks I'll have a bit of bear
stew for dinner!" And in response to one negative posting about
AOL stock, Voltaire ..."Take your scare sermons to a board where it will
hold water. To all who had the damn guts to spit in the face of shorters
who try to intimidate and the manipulating MMs, cograts! Like I said
before, AOL is either quality or it is not. Never worry or panic over
quality." And one quick message after Monday's closing bell that summed
it all up for MotleyFool's AOL loyal. slurper ..."The odor in the air is due
to burning shorts."
