Michael,
Do you ever play very short term puts to catch the down-side of an earnings announcement you believe will be unfavorable? For example, if you didn't already have puts on Dell, would you buy May puts, or play it a different way?
Thanks,
/Kit

Michael,
Fred Hickey made a good case for HWP having a disappointing earnings release next Monday. What is the case for NOT pooting HWP? (I know you give them extra credit for their honesty.)
Thanks,
/Kit

Michael -
Any opinion on Cadence at this point ? Seems like they have taken
their lumps more than the news would justify.
Thanks,
DN

Do you really think they are going to miss?!
Michael DELL says that their quarter is very solid.
Ashok Kumar says the "magic is back".
Of course, Wall Street says show me the numbers.

I have been long in DELL since early 1996. So I am doing OK. <g>

You are a trader primarily while I am primarily an investor who also trades.

I have a 2/3 position in long puts on Dell with the earnings disaster almost upon us. I will add the last third if the dog with fleas goes up any more.

Michael, you will be sorely disappointed with this quarter's results. A miss in any way, shape, or form is not in the offing this time. Save that money and go buy gold poots <g>.
