Holy smokes! Check this out direcpc.com
This was what I was asking about and it's available now. It all makes sense. AOL is going to come out with a set top box that lets you access the net from your TV with a 21" dish and a phone line. The upload will be at 56k or DSL but the download will be at 400kbps!
It will be available wherever you can install a dish.
The fact that you won't need a PC and when it becomes available it will be available everywhere (not like DSL and cable) will make this service extremely popular.
Comments anyone?
Regards,Lee
