Lee,
Me thinks you is a wolf in sheep's clothing....or a "Paul Newman" like the "Hustler"...you know an awful lot and yet make yourself out to be a novice at this? <vbg> Your Sunday posts and today exposed you.......LOL
What else are you hiding from us???

Gee ADELLE...I wish I was a Paul Newman (Fast Eddie Felson...a movie I've seen only 20-25 times)in "The Hustler". But I'm not. Nowhere close. Just an "old timer" who's been around a bit and has learned the hard way how some lawyers, bankers, SPECIALISTS, FLOOR BROKERS and MM's...work hard at making money for themselves...often at our expense.

What else am I hiding? Lots. I used to be a handicapper at a harness track...a lot like being a a market handicapper...and my toughest job by far; I was a butler/chauffer/cook to a rich old Boston Brahnim. She looked like a short Everett Dirkson and a tall Maytag washer. Built like a five-foot block of ice with a voice that could set off tremors in contiguous states. And a penchant for formidable flatuance. More later, gotta enter an order. (Lee).
p.s. If you liked The Hustler, try "Rounders" and "House of Games"...both available on video. Great movies.

Lee,

You are experienced...I understand and respect your opinion.

2 points:

1. they are not pure shorts...
2. they being pro's has zero impact on my trading or investing...
so...a rather irrelevant statement. My early comment re shorts
refers to the gurus who constantly recommend shorting story
stocks. I don't really care beating anybody.
