the principle reason why i use one is to make more money. some are graphically pretty. some are very functional but not so pretty. one in particular that i like pulls up a time and sales sheet when you enter a ticker symbol. it also has hot keys to enter orders 1/8 1/16 above /below the bid or ask. time=money its kind of like the difference between the horse called trigger that you have grown to love and that new fangled contraption called a car. That car has a dashboard filled with instruments that can be quite useful.
