100 million dollars will make a lot of people run down a stock so they can accumulate.

Bob, they never said (in the news release) that they got $100M. They said that they exchanged shares in return for "investment securities worth $100M". This could mean a number of different things. It could be $100M of T-Bills. It could be $100M of IBM stock.

One thing it could be is simply an IOU for $100M.
