Lin,

Let's put this in perspective. 100 years ago Coca-Cola was putting Cocaine in their product for sale here in the US, emphasizing the energetic properties it provided the imbiber.

Heroin was being sold over the counter in the US as well.

And just fifty years ago, the Chinese conquered little peaceful Tibet, imposing their own Dalai Lama in a racist attempt to subvert and destroy the native Tibetan religion.

There is more than enough examples to go around that display how the powerful inflict their "values" upon the weak.

However, I will say that the US and Chinese share one distinct quality and that is the love of business. But I opine that Americans feel that business and trade is a glue that binds nations together decreasing the desire to make war upon one another.

We certainly have to admit that the greatest impediment to US business has been its own laws and regulations (anti-corruption, and human rights policies). These are constraints that many of our competitors see no reason of imposing upon their activities.

Regards,

Ron
