hawaii, were you were surprised about how much idtc put into one announcement? i wanted 1 prior to earnings, and maybe 2. but 3, 4 and 5 caught me by surprise. even if they release nothing prior to earnings, they have kept the ball rolling on this announcement. don't get me wrong we all want to know who is behind 4 and 5. i just found the consent more important right now, because of the doubts it left. 1. IDT Consummates Tender Offer 2. Secures $150 Million in Financing 3. Positions Company to Pursue Financing for Net2Phone 4. Net2Phone has executed a term sheet with more than one significant strategic investor relating to an investment in Net2Phone's equity securities 5. Net2Phone is negotiating with other significant investors

IDTC does have many pattern daytraders who sell/short the spikes and buy/cover the dips. Any serious news or speculation about news and the pattern traders will freak. No fun being short when IDTC breaks out. IDTC can fly from 27 to 30 in literally a few minutes. When the shorts throw in the towel we could spike 5 points within an hour or so, IMO. I assume that some would again try to pattern short again at a new level, say 32 for example. This will make for very interesting trading as we could return to the mid thirtys just as easily if investors think that $40 plus is just around the corner. Plus the momentum day/near term traders are very familiar with IDTC. They were heavily involved in the last major run up.

Thanks for the subtle hint earlier today. I actually increased my position 20% based on your remarks and a gut feel of my own.
