sw--I certainly share your concerns. In trying to put a positive spin on the whole thing, I recall the amount of time between the announcement of the Lucent deal and the actual closing of the deal. My guess, or perhaps hope, is that HH doesn't want to merely announce a letter of intent, but wants to announce an actual deal.
