Nah, I'm a Sacramento fan now! <g> I just got in and this message is brought to you by a RCA (Yeah that's right) cable modem. I just measured a download and got 1 meg in 20 seconds. The kid said he has gotten higher than that, oh hold on I'll try your profile, uh Netscape crashed but it looked like about five seconds you bandwidth hog! <g> I'll try later on IE5. All in all so far the cable modem is nice, much faster than my brothers DSL line, and naturally faster than my ISDN, which is on borrowed time now. If you can get cable and need to view profiles like yours I highly recommend it! <g> Well, gotta go do some surfing and put this thing to the test. Oh yeah, did get a 3Com NIC but a cheapy ISA bus one so my kid kept our Linksys PCI NIC in place. The cable modem guy did the install very fast, just loaded up the software, plugged in the cable modem and bam, were in. Rather impressive compared to the phone company. Well if this is Tuesday, this must be cable modem day. We expect a full report. Don't give us any of your guff about how you were out last night drowning your sorrows over the loss by the Jazz to Sacramento and so couldn't adequately operate a modem. Any loading of my profile in more than 5 seconds would be considered a failure.<g>
