Thanx Tim, what the EZ-DSL is...is a Microfilter, so we aren't really talking about a modem. Here is a clip from the Cisco site.... The EZ-DSL Microfilters are used to connect telephones at the customer premise to the premise telephone wiring. The microfilters ensure that transient noise from the premise telephones do not interfer with the proper operation of xDSL modems installed at the customer premise. Kind of like a splitter...isn't it?
