I have also. And Hirsch seems to me to be the converse. Someone who is highly competent and a straight shooter, but is not highly skilled politically. He says what he thinks, rather than what he is supposed to say. I find that refreshing, and rare. It has also caused some problems, needless to say. Not only were his comments about having a deal done by the 1Q end unwise, but he handles the investment community poorly.

Is he a perfect CEO? No. But as I related on this thread a few months ago, I'll take his skills over a PR centric CEO any day.
