WinStar is the first communications company to offer its customers this level of capacity in a fixed wireless broadband connection. Giganet Ltd. is providing WinStar with the high-capacity radios. The first Giganet link was installed last year, and has undergone extensive testing and integration with WinStar's Network Management Center (NMC). ''The introduction of OC-3 radios demonstrates our market leadership in delivering innovative, high-capacity broadband Wireless Fiber services,'' said Nathan Kantor, president and chief operating officer of WinStar.
