If you have a rough idea of the date of the post, you can get to groups of 100 posts by going to the thread header, and clicking on the START link. You'll see the headings for each group of posts, and you can zero in on perhaps the group that holds the one you are looking for. For each page of 100 that loads, you'll be able to see the poster's name, and the date of the post. You can scan for your name, and continue that way until you zero in on the one you are looking for. Tedious to be sure, but not as bad as it sounds, unless you've made tons and tons of posts to that thread. Len
