The 14 day RSI has made a new high in momentum, so statistically AET should have a higher high in the next week or two. Several of the stocks in the group have had better than average relative performance. the pe is 18 which is cheap in this mkt. I think the Ceo is DIck Huber, he's a pretty good manager, ( he came in to head up global trading when I was at Chase) people love DSL stocks and as ALA expands that activity it may catch more interest. of course ALA is a huge company with 189,000 employees and is into a number of industries,: Alcatel Alsthom S.A. is engaged in the design, development and supply of telecommunications and multimedia equipment, systems and services. ALA is also engaged in the Cables, Defense, Energy and Transportation fields. For the FY ended 12/31/97, net sales rose 15% to FF185.87B. Net income rose 71% to FF4.67B. Revenues reflect higher Telecom revenues due to an emphasis on more promising sectors. Earnings also reflect better control of operating costs. awre has 86 employees ....what a difference -ng-
