I think you may be getting overly optimistic for the near term. Investors are continually ignoring the long bond, whose yields have gone up more than 50 bps in the last 3 weeks. Given the level of interest rates, valuations appear way too high for growth (and cyclicals) stocks. For the recent gains to be sustained (and further advance) the long bond yields must come down below 5.5%. BTW, CSCO's earnings typically result in a slight sell-off in CSCO most of the time. I am just hoping for tame inflation figures later this week which will ease some pressure of bonds. Alok
