NetWare's Next Steps Novell Unveils Roadmap for Network Platform Novell is continuing to advance NetWare 5 as a more robust platform for developing and deploying open, Web-based applications, and this week at Networld+Interop the company is announcing its roadmap for the future of NetWare. The first step is an Internet enhancement pack for NetWare 5. Integrating many important Web technologies into an upcoming release of NetWare code-named "Cobra," these enhancements will make it easier for customers to manage their networks, run applications, and integrate Novell Directory Services® (NDS). Novell is also announcing the beta availability of Novell Small Business Suite 5, an enhanced release of Novell's easy-to-use network server platform for small companies that enables businesses to get the most out of their internal networks and the Internet by including all of the software needed to run and intelligently grow a network.
