I honestly don't know. I do know that Solution 6 has a bid in for PC DOCS, as does OTEX and Hummingbird. OTEX should win this battle and I suspect that SOL6 knows this. They have been given an opportunity from PC DOCS to basically counter, but I think it is just an effort by PC DOCS to get a higher bid from OTEX. Therefore, SOL6 will probably be looking for a substitute acquisition in a similar biz. In addition, SOL6 has offices in London -- which brings some familiarity with ALTS. This is just pure speculation again on my part. As most of the ALTS posters now realize I often post in an effort to gain more information from counter/rebuttal posters. I do know that next week in London is key. ALTS simply cannot operate any longer without an imminent deal that brings it cash or a merger. There is simply no possible way. The EB product is solid and very, very marketable. How much is ALTS customer list worth? -JH Time, I feel, is actually on our side in this respect.
