In reply to Ramsey Su: There are numerous tourist guides to European countries, which are updated every year. Having provided assistance to the CIA when I was working overseas about 35 years ago, I know the kinds of people who populate that agency. Basically, they are the children of parents kicked out of communist countries, and they all have one thing in common - they are vehemently anti-communist. That tends to get in the way of routine tasks, such as finding up-to-date maps.

I don't see much adverse effect on QCOM operations in China. Ericsson will be carrying the ball, for one thing. The Chinese need the latest telecom technology, as a practical matter. But it may be more difficult for GM to build and sell Buicks there.
