As a part of this share repurchase program, Network Associates may from time to time issue put warrants covering a portion of the program in private transactions to a limited number of purchasers. Purchasers of these warrants would be entitled to sell shares of the Company's Common Stock to the Company at specified prices and times.

I assume that these warrants are sold, but are not publicly traded. Note that the release talks about "purchasers of these warrants".

BTW if they only sold naked puts wouldnt they actually have to have them put to them in order to effect EPS?

Yes, but it is frequently used to fund the purchase of the stock.
