No, the joke is that this was so easy to predict. Look at #13301-#13313 if you are interested. It was pretty obvious that the dividend would be used as an excuse for a sell-off.

Using small words, then.

Your dividend is worthless because it is not tradeable. MDHM has fewer assets than it used to. Your shares are now worth less. If the day comes when the spinoff is publicly tradeable, that's another 100M potential shares on the market. Yikes. Either way, we're talking sitting on barber-pole wrapped in barb-wire dipped in iodine...and no vaseline. Enjoy the ride. :-)

BTW, why would you expect your broker to have the certs for a company that isn't publicly traded? Shouldn't you be bugging DaveD/LesP etc for your certs in the spinoff?
