Maurice, if you have the time, please elaborate on why you're so sure that ICO will lose money; from what I've heard about the system, it's not that obvious to me. I also don't agree that only one (or two) companies can survive in this market; most other markets are served by at least two and often several competing firms. Survival (only) of the fittest is not a truism in most markets, IMO. Even if G* turns out to be the cheapest, best quality system, it doesn't necessarily follow that all the other guys will be forced out of business. Regards, RS

I really don't mind your word play with my name; it validates my existence in an epistemological way. Poetic license? Well, then, Globalstar handsets are actually made of balsa wood, and only weigh 2 ounces. Of course, the transmission range is a bit short of that needed to contact someone standing next to you, much less a low-earth orbiting satellite. But have no fear - Bernard Schwartz owns a balsa farm (that's a joke, Bernie - please don't get angry!). ICO? Maybe you're right. But for the really outrageous, Maurice, why don't you spin a tale about the wisdom of Teledesic? You ARE the MAN! (And I mean that with affection...seriously). Gad...this is FUN!
