Wally: I don't think the Fed. will tighten this May. Greenspan said the recovery in Asia and Brazil is "fragile." He sees the productivity as mentioned in his speech and the report today. And he sees the bond market doing his job for him. At most, we get a tightening bias. A preemptive 1994 strike is not imminent IMO.

Query: How does an analyst measure productivity increases within a company? We talk about P/Es a lot. Maybe we should talk more frequently about gross margin comparisons more.
