Joe,

To my knowledge NCI's set-top software can run on many real time operating systems. It is also my understanding that VxWorks is the default RTOS for NCI's set-top software. WIND has products which are based on NCI's source code, these products naturally coming from WIND run on VxWorks. The AOL set-top could run on an another RTOS besides VxWorks. Time will tell.

Regards
JC.
