Value Line Publications, Inc. Adds HomeCom as a 'New Recommendation'

ATLANTA--(BUSINESS WIRE)--May 12, 1999--HomeCom Communications, Inc. (NASDAQ: HCOM - news), a provider of Internet software solutions for the financial industry, announced it was notified by Value Line Publications, Inc.'s, ''The Value Line Special Situations Service'', that it has been added as a ''New Recommendation.'' The report was issued to subscribers of the service on May 10, 1999.

Harvey Sax, President and CEO of HomeCom, said, ''None of us had any hint that HomeCom was being reviewed by Value Line. To be blunt, we are all very pleased by Value Line's inclusion of HomeCom in its 'Special Situations Service' publication.''

HomeCom also disclosed that Mr. Sax is meeting with Analysts, Portfolio Managers and Investment Professionals in Chicago, May 12-13; Minneapolis, May 14; New York, May 19-21; San Francisco, June 2-3 and Los Angeles, June 4.

Thanks for your comments on ASYT. On SFAM I may wait a little longer. I think PRIA is ready to move with the sector. On P&F charts the semi sector has reversed to the positive. The chips (LSI) look good as well.
