I think he is just more cautious about his responses, because the Street takes everything literally and they magnify his words. He has learned by seeing his stock dive after having an excellent quarter. So if anything, I think he is just becoming more street-wise. I still think he is pumped about company performance, but he does not want to inflate his answers.

I like his new demeanor. Last time MD talked about kicking ass ("on a tear"), we got our ass kicked to the tune of about 35%. I for one like the kinder, gentler Mike.

Dell "IS on a tear." I just don't want to hear that from MD right now because it might inflate those analyst expectations.
