Pat--- the damn suits just waste money. The companies and officers are insured,, there go the premiums,,, but it is a distracting pain in the butt for officers and lawyers of COMS that have better things to do---this group is a bit much though and I do class them with ambulance chasers

You are correct. Lerach & co. have been doing this for years to mainly tech firms. One firm in Silicon Valley has been hit three times. This is cost of doing business and COMS will turn over to insurance firm. Would think effect on stock will be nil. I'd forget lawsuit.
Lerach is one of the largest doners to Clinton's campaign and Clinton has been to at least two fund "collections" at Lerach's home in Rancho Santa Fe, CA What's the old saying about "Birds of a feather......"

Lawsuit.

Lerach and his firm just lost a big lawsuit to Daniel Fischel, the dean of the Chicago Law school and a frequent expert witness opposing these shareholder suits. Fischel sued them for disparaging his reputation and for prosecuting a false claim against him. I think they agreed to pay him 10s of millions of dollars in settlement after Fischel won at trial.
