Welcome don lapre to SI and this thread. The answer is YES!

We also seem to have overlooked the big-time gambling and gaming industry entirely. That industry is just now coming out of a cyclic downturn. I'm sure that the creative types therin would entertain any new media delivery opportunity.

As a Yahoo poster pointed out, take a look at Drew Cummings bio sketch on AENTV and then draw your own conclusions. Talk about a narrowcasting candidate industry with the ability to underwrite.

Don't know much about the WAVO deal. It could prove to be symbolic about something else instead. Without getting to exact about it, it seems that a lot of the partnering done deals involve much of delivery in the transport layer sense, portal enablement, customer targeting accounting and empowerment.

Content, while alluded to, for now seems to take a bit of a back seat. I think this will change in the very near future. This content area (and its enablement through back end services) is where Mr. B seems to be positioning Ampex.com. If so, then Ampex may instead participate in the next round of partnerships. The content round is certainly coming. As in entertainment, the competition is fierce but the payoffs are enormous - with the right talent.
