Re: IPO shares Just so you know, I opened an account with Wit so that I could get some IPO shares ... out of the last 6 IPO's that were offered, I managed to snag .... ZERO! They say it is on a first come, first serve basis. Yet, as soon as I get the email about the offering, and respond YES, I WANT AN ALLOCATION, I always get back the "sorry" message. I think they are given very little shares and in spite of first come, first serve .. their biggest accounts get first shot.
