There is probably going to be an offer in the next week. But it's a shame that Alex is dealing with disgruntled shareholders (that's his fault though). The company will be taken by Intel for around $50/sh. It's a steal simply because digital video encoding, to this day, remains a very tough nut to crack.

Intel recognizes that the "holy grail" for the STB is the codec. People being able to see each other over the internet is so much closer than the popular press understands. AT&T understands this. So does Intel. CUBE's codec is precious. Intel is going to get it for a song (provided a bidding war doesn't erupt).
