I never thew a club in the water, but I pretended to knock over a golf cart once. I was on a very steep hill, and my friends were just ahead and to the right of me, but the hill was so steep, I lost sight of them. So I jumped out of the cart, and made a couple of "AH" "AH!" and welping sounds, then I hit the side of the golf cart & bag and make a loud "thud."

They were laughing so hard, they didn't know whether to play on, and pretend they didn't know me, or come to the rescue.

Tim, reminds me of the "true" story of the golfer who threw his golf bag full of clubs into the pond. He then remembered that his car keys were in his bag, so had to wade out into the pond to pull his bag back to land.

Took out his car keys, and then threw the bag and clubs back into the pond!
