Glad you had a fun and successful time shorting another bad company. I'm not someone who looks for shorts, but I like to be open minded, to recognize that there are stocks that deserve to go up and those that deserve to go down, stocks undervalued, and overvalued, and I'd like to be able to be open-minded enough to play both directions, as I see them. Having ones funds tied up in a long position doesn't seem much different to me than having ones funds tied up in a short position. If the stock is going in the wrong direction you are stuck, have to pay the margin costs, can't trade other things with the money. I'd prefer some shorter term positions than ZONA was, even though right was done in the end.

Linda

Re: ALTIF (way off topic)

made a profit in any Q since they have gone public.>>

Correct. Furthermore they have never made a profit or even sold anything since the company was formed 24 years ago. How they were able to buff up a record like that and go public is amazing. Makes ZONA look good.
