The bottom is not confirmed though it may in fact be a bottom. I would think we need it tested at least once more over the next day or two to verify it has bottomed. In the mean time it may be so over sold that it won't be tested for a week. Pick one! ;-)

I wish I knew where the nct bottom will turn out to have been, Enjay.
If you look back two years you'll find that a lot traded at this level, it was pre-split and the price was 45-50, but all same difference ... keith has some great posts on resistance/support levels and how enduring can be the memory of investors. I'm three quarters loaded up on nct, anyway .... if today wasn't the bottom, i sure hope we're close -g- ... if CIT reaffirms the merger, nct will do a bungee-jump recovery. And if not, I think the failure of the merger is overly discounted anyway. Just a wild guess there, though.
