Richard, you are exactly right. JMAR will need heavy financing, partners, etc., to be able to produce the numbers that were stated. I never said they could do it alone, and in fact I look forward to joint ventures with some of the larger tech companies. JMAR has so far resisted the temptation to join up with a larger company. They plan to complete this project alone. Which means that when they do partner up, they will have to give less of the project away, since the product will be in its final stages already. Stepper makers, chip makers, etc., could be suitable partners. I would also expect more than one partner because the uses of the x-ray source are so numerous.

The weakness in the disk drive area is yet another reason for JMAR to concentrate fully on its x-ray source and brightlight modules. Read the LA times article over again. JMAR's future is in that article.
