In no way do I recommend them, but to answer your question - Datek is one brokerage that offers the ability to trade ISLD market orders. It's not the quickest, but you can usually count on no more than a point or so lost when getting out of a runner...it occurs to me to say "your mileage may vary"...others may have had better or worse experiences.

What I have been going through lately trying every way possible to get out (and in, but that's not really the issue) is unworkable for me, and, as I said, I am going to refrain from fast stocks til the system changes. Believe me, that is definitely not by choice, but by necessity. It is my fervent hope that Watley incorporates ISLD market or a similar "standing" market order system soon.

I do appreciate that Island is not owned by Watley. I only encourage them to negotiate "strongly", as soon as possible, to make access complete for Watley the same as it is at Datek. We all want liquidity. Island sure doesn't want to see us fumbling around with "NASDAQ" orders because we can't chase ISLD fast enough, that's a fact.

Watley, in my opinion, is still head and shoulders above any firm I've tried or heard about.

While we're on the subject of ISLD, who else enjoys spending multiple commissions closing a single position. I love getting filled for 5 shares, cancel and chase, get filled for a few more, and on and on...please, when closing a position charge one commission, don't keep piling them on when we keep getting partial fills.

I repeat, Watley is still head and shoulders above any firm I've heard of. I loved the thing in Barron's this week. Watley was the only firm Barron's talked to that would not take all new customers if they were swamped with applications...Watley said they'd slowly tier new customers if it got that busy...every other broker was happy to say they'd take 'em all. We all know what that means. I'm glad Watley recognizes the pitfalls of trying to grow too fast. I give them credit.
