aol and idtc and traffic congestion.

aol network is known not to be the greatest and suffers from congestion, so how can n2p work with aol?

instead of being technical, let's be untechnical.

i would bet aol and idtc are negotiating a peering pact to allow for voip traffic to be moved to idtc's network asap, and remain on aol's network for the shortest possible time frame.

similar to freeways and toll roads. freeway (aol), suffers from congestion, poor planning, and to much traffic. but toll roads (idtc network), is designed to carry to carry traffic and not suffer from stop and go traffic. where the freeway can shift cars (voip traffic) that will pay a premium to avoid stop and go traffic, will be routed to the toll road, other cars (data), continue on the freeway, since data does not have the same needs as voip.
