When Sector Investor returns, I am sure he can/will answer your question.

Sorry, I can not answer it.

cbk:

No ATM switch. Different market than the gig ethernet area (ATM companies are being acquired quickly, Asnd, Bay, Xyln, Fore - leaves Pair and other small players only.

You'll need to do more research but for some history 2 years ago MRVC was riding high with an equity investment from INTC, (INTC still has options for 500k shares @ $20 area) they were the technology leader with the gigabyte ethernet switch (technology leader does not equate to marketing / sales leader). They had a secondary offering @ around $32 (stock went to $40)and then issued a debt offering (stock was already on its way down). Unfortunately they missed the market with a integrated switch and ran into problems last summer.

My opinion - MRVC management is good technically and business wise but like most companies with young management they still must grow (i.e. relations / creditability with street). One knock against the company has always been marketing (confusion with NBase vs MRVC brand names). Of course you won't see anyone knocking this now with the Israel papers article on NBASE a couple of weeks ago allowing smart investors to jump back on board @ 9.

I don't have a position in the stock (bailed in mid $20's a year ago) but will move back in after China turmoil (should be minor blip to MRVC, but you never know) and we see what happens with AMAT and interest rates (long bond - not FED).

Tim
