John....LOL - great picture (Thanks for the crown S.Y.R.)

Although I am almost even on NCT after today's close I will wear the hat proudly for mistakes made in the past couple of days. I have the 5 year, 5 day (5 minute bars) and 1 day (1 minute bars) charts pasted on my wall with the mistake buys circled. I don't plan on trying this again in the near future. Although I was buying at support (with cross verification in different time frames with several indicators) with this type of powerful downward move I should have been smart enough to know that even large support levels might be broken. The shorts were playing games and I got played good. The stops saved me from taking any big losses but it sure hurt the pride. That last flip up was the only thing that salvaged the day.

I will repeat this for the thread one more time
Never go against the general stock trend
Never try and catch a falling knife..you might get cut

Rules I did follow (but who cares because I lost)
- used stops on ever trade (fairly tight, placed below key support levels with minimal loss on each stop)
- only bought at support (cross verified) when momentum slowed and depth showed support (should have waited for upward momentum but I got greedy trying to find the exact bottom)

If making money trading stocks was easy everyone would be doing it. Just another lesson well learned.

Best Regards
KEITH
