Chart Sofware: I have Metastock 6.5 and its the third version I have. Used it for 3 1/2 years. All I can say is I've tried the whole gamut, (except Advanced GET) and always come back to Metastock. I think at first it was user friendly, than as I became a power user, it was because of the amount of indicators, but now it's like a trusted friend that I can manipulate. I sometimes put formulas into it from TA of Stocks & Commodities Magazine. I like their candlestick interpretations because I never learned it in depth so it has enough to satisfy me. I'm not sure however it would answer all your needs because I still use Telescan and Technifilter for the SCANNING/Filtering/P&F analysis aspect of the trading. Metastock has "explorations" but I rarely use it. I now have real time Prosearch but so far, I've found the trades before the prosearch does..that's not quite right. I mean I find my own 'familiar' trades and Prosearch comes up with a motley assortment that I would need 1/2 hour just to analyse and reanalyse and by that time the trading opportunity passes me by. An excellent technical Analyst you might want to question is Doug on the "56 points' thread.
