Muzzy, TMCS, geee ask a tough question! This is one I keep thinking about bringing to the thread, but it just seems too unpredictable now. Has been stuck in something like a 30 to 42 trading range, so one could say it is undervalued here. But things are uncertain with the LCOS, USAI deal that includes TMCS. Let's see TMCS would be worth 0.45 LCOS if the deal went through, or is it 0.44 LCOS? Close enough ;-) Trading at a discount to rate, but has, and so much hangs on whether the deal is actually scrapped or not, and what TMCS will do if that is really the case.

Sources are reporting the end of USAI/LCOS(/TMCS):

USA Networks, Lycos scrap merger deal--CNBC report

"...An official announcement from the companies is expected on Wednesday, the report said...."

I'm in TMCS, but will look to pick up a few shares of LCOS tomorrow as IMO it will move faster than TMCS if the merger is called off. TMCS has been more loss than winnings for me, but was holding for the buyout as I thought the value would make sense given time. For example I was holding Netscape when AOL bought them out, and at first it wasn't a 'great' deal for a Netscape holder. Of course AOL has more than doubled since then. I actually like the USAI/LCOS/TMCS deal, guess one of the few. And it seems like the XOOM.COM deal and others now are copying the deal. Imitation is flattery? Anyway the deal limbo has held all these stocks back.

What worries me is whether TMCS can recover from this? Really I like their business: if Amazon can soar selling books on the net, why not similar valuations selling tickets?

that's my two cents. Risky play without momentum? But I honestly
do not know. My biggest loser this year if it doesn't recover :-(

Why wouldn't you like LCOS instead?
